Since my RAV is rockin' a wreath, I thought she might be a good candidate for December Ride of the Month.

Thanks for viewing!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! HAPPY HANUKKAH!!

(EDIT: I changed to this picture because it is FAR more appropriate for December ;-) )

No one can compete with that wreath.

I know, I know. I love Christmas too much to not decorate my car a little bit, but I love my RAV too much to put a Rudolph nose and antlers on it.

It would probably run away from embarrassment and go live in the woods, like the car in those Conoco commercials

I really don't want to win ROTM by default....

Those tires look like they might have some grip to them. How do they work for traction and how noisy are they ?

Those my friend are Nitto Terra Grappler ATs in 255/55/18.

I love them, they are quite "grippy". I have driven highway speeds in torrential rain storms, I have had them in the snow and I have taken them on dirt trails.

They have performed very well each time.

There is a bit of a hum on the highway, I'm sure some people would be annoyed by it but it doesn't bother me. I usually have my radio on anyway

The only downsides:

Reduction in fuel economy by 2-3 mpg
A bit less sporty feel

But I love the look of AT tires on SUVs and Trucks.
