If you hate the RAV4 so much why are you here? I guess the CR-V drive system must be a joke too since it also uses a hydro-electric clutch system to feed power to the rear wheels as needed and it too achieves the same benefits as a limited slip diff by using the ABS system to apply braking to the spinning wheel. Both manufacturers do this for the same reason; to save fuel.

Sure the Subaru AWD system is better, but it eats fuel, is expensive both to buy and maintain, and requires you to buy 4 new tires if you damage one. If you live in rural Vermont you probably need one but most people just don't want to get stuck. Our 4WD system does that. This is a compromise of course, but life is full of them.

Told my dealer to let me know when he has a really good must-go type deal on RAV4s, since I would consider trading in my 07 Sport with V6, just so I have some of the newer features. He just wrote me telling me he has no Sports on the lot, and the quit making them months ago

oops, I did not realize that there are also ZR6 which are RAV4s,
i did a quick search on ZR6 and Toyota Aurion came up!
Can you post a few pics? How different is it from the the North American version?

I'm not familiar with the North American version so I'm not sure of the differences, but the ZR6 is what I think you would consider a "sport"?? It's the top of the line in the V6 model and comes with all the extras (sunroof, heated seats, GPS, etc).

I picked up a 2012 on November 27th and the dealer told be that all that they would have is what was on the lot. Of coarse they unveiled the 2013 the very next day!!

There are 5 V6 at my local dealer, I think one is a sport awd, one is a base awd, and the others are 2wd. Location is Courtesy Toyota of Orlando.
