As did I. I'll reserve judgement until I see one up close & personal but no V-6 would be a deal killer for me were I in the market.

It will be interesting to see who the first 2013 owner will be on R4W.

I wish it were possible to swap out the front clip of the 2011. I don't like mine. (Limited)

The 2013 is not in my future, either. The spare belongs outside.

A Ford Escape with the Ecoboost engine will now be able to say to the RAV4, "Eat my dust as well as my towing capacity!" Along with others I was expecting more to change.

Correct, it won't be me. Pretty dang happy with my Subie right now. I see they havn't done anything with that rear tail pipe in 2013. I thought they would improve the looks of rear exhaust outlet a bit.
