Glad I bought my 2011. The lines on the 2013 are plug ugly. And the curved down rear takes away valuable space needed by me for a dog crate. I prefer the more square back, higher with more usable clearance. But that's just IMHO

Classier looking but the real question is: Why would anyone want a car from a company that says burning 1 qt of oil in 1500 miles is normal? I have an 06 that just started drinking oil like many have posted. I was hoping too keep it a while and move to 2013 or 2014 after a while...now I feel pressure to move to something else BEFORE things get worse. At least the tire is off the back...does the tailgate lift? Does the rear window go down. Whats a base I4 AWD list at?

Prospective owners need to do some gym-style weight lifting to practice for tire changing if they get a flat - retrieving the spare especially if the cargo area is loaded will not be much fun! And depending upon how the spare is situated, checking the tire pressure may not be enjoyable, either . . .

Toyota 4-cylinder engines have a long history of oil consumption. My parents old 1990 Camry bought new consumed 1-2 quarts of oil between 3k mile oil changes since new and it ran fine for 200,000+ miles. If you're worried, get an oil analysis done by either Oil Analyzers or Blackstone labs and send it in to look for any abnormal wear issues. If it's fine which it most likely will be just keep driving the car and don't worry about it aside from checking the oil every so often. No reason it won't keep running just fine for many more years.

My 2002 RAV4 had about 50k on it when I sold it.. during the many years I owned it I never had to replace oil between 3k mile oil changes that I can remember.

I've only had this 2010 about 4 months, but I have seen no oil consumption and it has about 55k miles on it, but its a V6
