Thank you for the thoughtful reviews. Having purchased a 2012 Limited V6 a few months ago, I was wondering how the 2013 would fare. I really like the lift gate and spare removal, however I contemplated a CRV for that reason. I went with the Rav V6 for the additional power and interior. Hopefully when it comes time for sale or trade, the V6 will be something desirable. I certainly have been happy with it.

So, I looked at some pics and it appears that there IS a washer, they just changed how to activate it. In the '13, instead of twisting the windshield wiper stalk to activate the rear wiper / washer; you now push the whole stalk away from you; the opposite of pulling it towards you which activates the front washer. ![]() Crisis averted! They better not start mixing up other tried-and-true Toyota ergonomics... next thing you know they're gonna swap how the cruise control stalk works, etc! I kind of like it actually, pretty intuitive to me.

So, you pull it to the rear to activate the front washer, and push it to the front to activate the rear washer? Oh yeah, very intuitive.

If you pull that stalk to the rear on your RAV4, it operates the front washer, right?

it's easier on the fingers to pull than to push and you spend more time cleaning the front windshield than the rear windshield .... Damn, I should be a Toyota engineer . I am totally in sync with them
