Mosquitoes? I thought they were buzzards . . . .

In this balmy weather, he will probably be installing the new HID outside in his T shirt LOL

After lots of research, HID's are ordered from here:

Xtreme Digital HID Kits

My RAV was built yesterday. I'm chomping at the bit. From Woodstock to Winnipeg by rail shouldn't take too long. I should get it about 7-10 days. Thankfully I can do the lights and anything else in my attached garage. It's an unheated garage but the coldest it has ever got in there is -4C. (With the doors closed)
T-shirt and shorts? Not until late April here.

I called my salesman last week and he said mine entered production on the 7th, and would reach the dealership ~2/28. The Rav race is on. 1st to post a pick wins!

You have a 2 week head start. Not fair! There's no way I'll get mine in a week.

Maybe unfair; winnipeg is about as far from woodstock as denver is. I talked to a fleet salesman the week of the 7th & he said my vehicle hadn't entered production, but a week later, my salesman said it did, so who knows...My only worry at this point is mpg. Only 3 members have posted partial tank readings. So many people on this site have bought new Rav's, certainly someone has gone thru a tank of gas and knows what they got for mpg, hopefully they aren't disappointed, and that's why they haven't posted.

That's the least of my concerns. Going from a V6 5 spd to an I4 6 spd will net me a real world increase of at least 4 mpg. I'm happy. I don't even keep track of my fuel consumption.
I'm most looking forward to a plusher and quieter ride.

The Rav passed the snow test with flying colors. About 5-7" of very wet snow and I plowed thru just fine. I tried to get it stuck on a hill in our neighborhood (so I could use the lock button to free myself), but it kept going. I did try lock mode, and it is going to be a huge help in very deep snow or ice. I'm missing my Tacoma less and less...

Just spoke to my salesman. Build was Feb.20 and delivery on or about Mar. 12
Three weeks seems like a long time to get from Woodstock ON to Winnipeg MB but what do I know?
