Ordered my 2013 rav4 limited, front wheel drive today in shoreline blue with black interior. I live in tampa so prices here seem to be higher than up north.
Options included JBL upgraded radio, blind spot monitoring system, and carpet mats and cargo mat. I paid 29,104.82 for the car which included destination. I also traded in my minivan. after tax, tags, title and my trade my out the door was 22,000. |

i bought a white 2013 AWD limited w/navigation today
the sticker said $28410 + $1030 for navigation + $395 for "special color" + $225 for carpet floor mats/cargo mat + $845 delivery processing and handling fee TOTAL MSRP $30905 i talked them down to $30000. they added on a $200 processing charge "not required by law" $20 computerized dealer titling $252 license, license transfer, title, registration fee they attempted to confuse me on the price at every opportunity. confusing wording and if I didn't like the price they were suggesting, they would convert the price to monthly payment amounts to try and see if they could trick me into agreeing to that. they filled up an entire page of scribbled numbers trying to make as difficult as possible to understand what exactly I was paying and paying for. i have no idea if I got a fair price or not. they assured me I was getting a great price but I suspect I got screwed somewhere |

I picked up my 2013 Magnetic Gray Metalic RAV LMTD AWD last night.
The MSRP was $32,078 and I paid $30,477 including $845 delivery and $289 administrative fee. I was happy because I went in with all my Edmunds True Market Value info and they beat it on the first try. It's my forth RAV, but the first one that was truly loaded. I traded in a 2010 FJ Cruiser that I'll miss a lot, but the RAV is far more practical for my needs. The RAV was parked next to a Shoreline Blue RAV in the delivery room, and under the flourescent lighting, they looked almost the same color. In my opinion, it's far superior to my 2006 Limited.

Don't know about the US, but in Canada the Gold and Platinum Toyota plans cover either the first 4 or 8 oil changes, roadside assistance, vehicle rental, and a bunch of other stuff. At the bottom of their blurb is a statement about mechanical coverage. Since I already do all my own maintenance and have free roadside assistance through my credit card, all that "other stuff" is unimportant to me. If Toyota offered just standalone mechanical insurance, I'd consider it. Can you US owners buy JUST mechanical insurance through Toyota, or do you have to purchase all the other superfluous stuff as well?

purchased my Magnetic Grey FWD/XLE 2 weeks ago, went from a 2011 Scion tC.. wanted a rav4 for the past year and waited for the new ones to come out...
went to my toyota dealer that i have been going to for years... Sticker was 26,500.. didn't ask and was discounted to 24,500.. love the no haggle, only cause i am a close personal friend of a couple managers... my payment only went up 20 bucks from what i was paying on the tc, and my insurance dropped 70 bucks.. so i can't complain... Already tinted the front windows and have a 2 way alarm remote start that i am going to put in this week.. and as well as the front end clear bumper film... |
