From the photo I can see why you miss your Limited V6, the back side of the 4.4 is hideous
In any case, I'm still happy for you, enjoy Sent from my HTC One X+

I don't care for the tail lights--they stick out like snack trays!

Guess I'm blind in one eye and can't hear out of the other one.....only thing I notice with our RAV4 is the zip of the V6 and that big ol' sh*t eatin' grin in the rear view mirror.

I was at my dealership to have my remote batteries changed. I passed by the show room and saw this beauty. Checked the interior and exterior right away and after that I started looking for a salesrep to trade in my RAV4 2010 V6 limitted edition. The negotiation didn't even last a minute,,,,, he told me they don't have a V6 for the RAV4 2013. If I needed the driving comfort and the feeling of driving a sedan,,,, I drive my wifes 2007 CRV. If I need power at easy TOE's reach,,,, I drive my RAV4 V6. If just in case they will come out with the V6 variant and with same looks next year or two years from now I will definitely get one.

I'd say odds are pretty good that Toyota won't come out with a noticeably more powerful engine for the 4.4 RAV4, likely ever, as with this new car they're catering to the Soccer Mom crowd (read: Honda CR-V target market).
If they do come out with a more powerful engine for the RAV4, you can be darn sure it'll be a turbo-charged 4-cylinder, like everyone else ('cause in this segment that's how Toyota rolls, dig?). But they'll probably wait for Honda to do it first, and it seems unlikely to me that Honda would go in that direction. It's a huge shame that the two most reliable brands on the planet have chosen to severely restrict the "utility" aspect of the Compact SUV, and have turned them into nothing more than station wagons. As Toyota says, if you want/need more power and utility, you'll have to shell out several thousand more dollars for the Highlander. Either that, or go for a less reliable brand. Not exactly great choices.
