Trailer Hitch for 2013 RAV4

Has anyone had an aftermarket hitch installed yet? I need to do it, and Toyota told me to try U-Haul ($365 installed all-told) and I'm hoping there is a better choice. (Especially local)

I put one from etrailer.com on my 4.4. Cost me less than 2hondo (with free shipping). I got the Draw Tite hitch. I would have gotten one locally, but no one I called around town had one in stock and they were all claiming it would take WEEKS to get one. Odd...

I found etrailer an hour ago, and bought the Curt with ball mount. Looks like an easy mount. Just need it for a garden trailer (to the compost site) and a bike rack. Thanks!

Here is the long thread on trailer hitches for the 2013:

One of these days I'll get one put on mine.

TOW hitch... no wonder my search came up empty!

I got one online and it took less than 15 minutes to install. I installed while it was on the driveway NOT raised and it was a piece of cake.

Yup, 15 minute install AND with the Curt I did not have to reverse the rod on the exhaust like others claimed was necessary.

The Curt (from etrailer.com) installed in less than 20 minutes... having 2 of us helped to hold & bolt. Slick! I've been able to use it since for our bike rack, hope to hook the trailer up this weekend. Recommended!

Do a search on ebay. You can get a Curt with the trailer wire harness for about $175 with free shipping.
