What's new for MY 2014

To summarize:

1) Entune standard on XLE, optional on LE
2) Entune Premium with NAV standard on LTD, optional on XLE
3) Sunvisor extenders and chrome interior door handles standard on XLE
4) New Technology Package optional on LTD, that includes a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Alert and Auto High Beam. In order to simplify the ordering process, the RAV4's Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert will no longer be offered as a stand-alone option.

Reflecting those improvements, the 2014 Toyota RAV4 will arrive on dealer lots with prices between $250 and $1,310 higher than last year's model.

The 2014 Toyota RAV4 is scheduled to begin production in November..

This info is for the US market only. I had read elsewhere that the Spruce Mica colour was history, and Blue Crush Metallic is in.

I loved that Spruce Mica! I feel like everyone nowadays has some version of bright blue and there aren't that many darker greens around. (I got a 12 though anyway, the green color alone wasn't enough to sway me)

I liked the Spruce Mica too. The dealer had none nearby with the options I wanted, so I was stuck with Red as my second choice. Unfortunately I didn't have the luxury of waiting for an ordered one since my old car was just about dead.

The blue is nice on the new rav. Ive seen it in person. Although it was just the car body it catches the light nicely.

Toyota is going to push the lane departure on all of it's vehicles. It sounds like a few years from now it'll be tied to the steering so it'll auto correct when it's turned on.
