So are Toby/Troy back in business... how are there prices compared to Jerry's? Please confirm that we can purchase EW over state lines through the phone.

No one is going to know until someone buys a Toyota VSA from Jerry or one of the others, via the phone and over state lines. These were the restrictions Toyota put on dealers a few years ago. Hopefully Toyota Corp. realized their bad decision and will now allow this type of transaction to again happen.
Just as an aside, I purchased a new 2016 Rav hybrid limited in July. I know the salesman and spoke to him about what Toyota did about VSA's over state lines. He was aware but he spoke to the finance manager and when I met with this guy to sign the papers he asked if I was interested, and the final price I paid for a 8year/75,000 platinum zero deductible was $1,100. He was open about this and showed me his pricing binder and what I paid was $150 over his (dealers) cost.

That is what I was asking for someone to confirm after purchase....

I was talking today with the dealership sales guy who sold me my my RAV4 over 8 years ago about a used Camry for my daughter. According to him, if the vehicle is a Certified Pre-Owned Toyota, it is eligible for the Toyota Platinum VSA even if it's past the 3 yr./36,000 factory warranty.

Can anyone else confirm this?

I just paid $2,500 for a 10y/125K extended warranty for a new 2017 RAV4 XLE Hybrid purchased in the state of New Jersey. Did I get taken to the cleaners? I called another dealership in NJ and they quoted me $3,500!!!

Question 7 year/125k mile warranty pricing

Hi guys, I realize I am a little late to this, but I just got a 2014 RAV4 last week and wanted to ask if anyone had updated pricing to know if I am getting a good deal on my warranty. I took the advice here and emailed Jerry, as well as all the dealers in the metro area of my state (Indiana). The best price I received (not from Jerry) was $1,365 for the 7 year/125k w/ $0 deductible. Jerry quoted me $1,540, and based on his popularity here, I assume I am getting a good deal since someone came in lower than his price.

Edit: The RAV was Certified, by the way!

Can anyone share recent pricing for this same warranty or let me know if this is a good price? Thank you!!

I don't know what he showed you but that price is not 150.00 over dealer cost... it's more like 500.00.
