Default SofTex

Those that have it, what is your opinion? I looked at a Blizzard Pearl LTD with beige softex and it looked so nice.

I don't have it yet, but have ordered a LTD in Blizzard Pearl with all black Softex. When I was looking at them, I kind of forgot that it wasn't real leather. It does seem a little stiffer, not as supple as real leather, but I really don't like cloth seats so the SofTex will work for me.

Even Lexus has an option for faux-leather seats called Nuluxe. I guess it keeps the pricing down.

I just picked up my Blizzard Pearl with Ash Softex. I love it! My previous Rav (2004) had cloth seats, so this is my first "non-cloth" experience.

Is silver more difficult to maintain than Blizzard Pearl/Pear White?
Thanks.

I've had both a white car and a silver car. Both were pretty much the same as far as keeping clean.

This is the first white car I've ever owned. I had a silver many years ago, and at the time, it seemed the silver faded over time. I am sure the quality of the paint is so much better now than way back then, though.
Saturday was the first time I washed it since purchasing it two weeks ago. I'm very pleased how clean it still looked.

Did you notice that the ceiling liner is still grey in the RAVs with beige interior? I was not a fan of that color combination.

I noticed the grey ceiling but it didn't really bother me.... kind of like white ceilings in a house. The ash interior is nice but a little more grey than I want. My current car has a black interior and it gets so hot in the summer so I kind of want to get away from black.

i have the terracota and it also has the silver lining, i guess it makes it more "roomier". the softex is amazing, i think its as hard as the crv ex-l.

I like the Softex in my new RAV. It seems like most of the high quality faux leathers. Time will tell.

Regarding the white, I had the blizzard pearl on the 2011 LTD I just traded. It was a very easy color to keep. Between washings, I would dust it with my California duster and it did not show dirt like darker colors.
