Changes for my RAV4

Need a compass for my 2013 RAV4. Also needs a glove box light. Also want to change memory seat wiring so that 2nd position will roll seat all the way back when engine is shut off. Currently when the engine is stopped, the memory seat will not work. Have to open door and then push button to move seat back. My model is a Limited AWD.

How about a replacement rearview mirror that has Homelink, auto dimming, and compass? Several people on the forum have purchased used mirrors on Ebay and replaced their stock mirrors. Do a search on Homelink and you will find a number of posts on how to install and where to tap for power in the overhead. If you don't need the Homelink feature you can get a auto dimming mirror with compass for under $70 shipped.

For a glove compartment light have you considered one of those stick up battery powered led puck lights?

In my 4.3, I put a short LED strip in my glove box and hooked it up to the wire that powers the Hazard Button. It lights up when the headlights are switched ON.

You will have to check for (1) a power source which is activated with the headlight ideally and (2) close to the glove compartment and (3) not a pain to reach behind to make the connection.

What would be the best candidate for the 4.4?
