Does anyone know where I can find the instruction manual for "Floor Lightning Kit". Lost my and have searched the internet but have not found anyone. Applies Rav4 2015
Let an elegant touch of light brighten your RAV4’s front floor area.
• Illuminates when a front door opens
• Front footwell lighting helps make for more comfortable entry and exit
Thank you CB91710, for the information. I don't think my RAV4 has that floor light kit, but I will keep that PDF file for future reference if I ever need to remove those dashboard panel pieces. Wow, what a tare down job in return for some elegance; but I do like them.
I added my own floor lights, front and rear, using inexpensive LEDs. The total cost was a fraction of the Toyota kit. I made a thread about it that's around somewhere. I wired them the same as the Toyota instructions but I routed the wires behind the dash instead of taking it all apparent.
Ditto.
Been planning this myself and just haven't made time to install them.
I picked up 4 of the blue LED strips from Autozone and intend to put two under the dash and two under the back of the seats for the rear passengers.
Instead of ripping the dash apart, I'll tuck the wiring in under the console, around the back, and back up into the driver's footwell, then route up and over the column to get to the fuse box.
What are you talking about?
The floor lighting kit is readily available, it's just cheaper to buy the parts from the local auto parts shop and wire it in using the instructions in the provided links above.
Did you download and read those instructions? You'll see that they are for the "floor lighting kit" you are asking about.
