Do the new 2013 Rav4 have HID option?

as title say, was thinking purchase my wife 2013 limited but I can't seem to find HID option anywhere, is it even available? thx

No, not in the US at least.

No hid option for 2006-2013 in north America. You can put a morimoto hid kit in your projector headlights.

you can easily upgrade yourself, a new hid kit would be fairly cheap compared to a manufactuer option, and the install would be "plug and play"

Can anyone provide a link on where to purchase the plug and play HID lights? Does anyone have a link for instructions on how to install them? i just purchased a 2013 rav4 limited and would like my husband to change out the headlights so I can see better at night.

Our headlamp bulbs are a 9005 bulb

just picked up my rav4.4
good to know they are 9005 bulbs

got my hid's from ddm in my '06 matrix a couple years back.
best decision as far as light bulbs go.
still going strong. hope they last for a long time.

I'm interested in upgrading my '13 RAV lighting to HID. I don't know that much about them. From DDM's website it seems they are easy to install. Couple of questions, as you are obviously experienced with the ins and outs of HID's.

1) 9005's are low beam. Do you recommend HID's for high beam which are also the DRL's?
2) What temp do you recommend? I'm thinking 5000K. I wouldn't want to stand out with too much blue.
3) Will 35W be more than sufficient, as in 55W is overkill?
4) Are the DDM kits decent long term quality?
5) Are the HID kits compatible with the auto lamp system on the LTD?
Any other comments?

probably worth trying and buying, if it doesn't work out, i'm sure you can sell them at a small marginal loss. doubt i'll be buying these anytime soon, its my wife's car, and as much as i would like them. we're trying to save money right now, so no (kinda pointless) upgrades at the moment.
