Im back after 4 years, with my Giant

Well, 4 years ago I sold my Giant due to changing jobs and had to get a diesel for commuting.
However, this weekend my old Giant came up for sale and I snapped her up.
She has spent the last 4 years in the Orkney Islands.
Had a new clutch & radiator and still drives great.
However, bodywork (although not rusty) looks really faded and tired, the paint, plastic and wheels.
I only had a chance at the weekend to dabble for an hour on her, but initial signs look good, all coming up okay (even the heat gun trick to the plastic works)
Will take a few weeks to get her restored to her former glory.

Glad to see you got it back.
I always loved that front bumper.

1994 Celica - Redtop Beams swapped
1998 Rav4 - winter beater - Redtop Beams swapped and actually fun to drive now.

Yeh, none of the driving / spot lights work any more, but ive managed to source some new led driving lights that fit in the holes and brackets - so should be easy enough to sort and will update the front a little.
The small nudge bar is rusty, but I think mainly surface rust, going to remove it and there is a local guy that does powdercoating.

Yeah, Some people don't care much about their cars ( not saying it is the case here )......With the amount of work and time spent on my car, it will be hard to part ways with her. Only if I HAVE to. Glad you got her back.
