Chasis Lubrication ??

Are there any fittings on the underside of our 4.1's that need lubing ?
My 2000 is doing a little squeaking/squaking when I park .
It makes the noise when the Rav rebounds back from the suspension compression .
It's more of a dry squak so that why I think it's a lubrication issue .

I looked through my Haynes manual and it doesn't mention anything about chasis lubrication .

Any ideas ??

The service schedule does mention chasis lubrication - but there isn't anything needs doing.

Ravs are very rattly and squeaky

In my experience the rubbers on the top of the rear shock absorbers can squeak - also if the rubber bit on the back door is worn - that causes a lot of noise - try pushing the door a bit when it's shut

You know , I'm gonna have to disagree with you there .

My 2000 is my second Rav and I've never had issues with
them being sqeekers of rattlers .

The noise comes from under the engine bay sounds more like a dry ball joint or bushing .
Time to crawl under and get dirty .

Well with all respect - your post kind of disagrees with you!

I can promise you there is nothing needs greasing - if you do grease you will probably just attract dirt and make things worse
