Default even on here it's yes and no on cam belt damage
Hi was looking for info on changing the cambelt on my 1998 rav4 2ltr.And noticed some say engine damage is probable on belt failure and others say no damage.
So which is it ? still doing the belt just interested if its a safe engine or not

Think i have answered my own question,got a gates belt so went on there web site and the rav4 comes up as a non interferance engine
