High rpm over 50mph

I just bought a 2 door Rav4 automatic transmission. I had it checked out by a Toyota dealer. Only problem they found was transmission and motor mounts are shot. That was a couple of weeks ago. I haven't replaced the mounts yet.
The problem started 2 days ago. At about 40 mph the rpms start going up to 3000-4000rpm. The car will continue to accelerate, but rpms won't go down.
I figured it wasn't good to race the engine like that so I just got off the freeway. I don't know is it a tranny problem or is it the mounts or something else?

On the drivers side of shifter lever shaft there is a button that when pushed in lets it go into 4th gear=overdrive.

Unfortunately the overdrive is on. I was hoping maybe the mounts were causing it.

It is in drive, but it is a little sluggish, which the dealer told me the mounts definitely affect the cars pickup and go
