Engine Code P0133

Hey everyone, I have a '96 2Dr 4WD and I got an intermittent engine code:

P0133 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank #1 Sensor #1)

So I looked up on the online dealer's parts list and came up with the following parts:

OXYGEN SENSOR, RAV4, Upper 96-00 $143.12

OXYGEN SENSOR, RAV4, Lower, No. 1 96-97 $87.84

OXYGEN SENSOR, RAV4, Lower, No. 2 96-97 $87.84

But I have no idea which one is the one that I need. I hope it's one of the bottom two but with my luck it's probably the $143.12 one.

Does anyone know which of these three parts is the one I need to replace?

Sorry to say, but I think it is the top one...... The second sensor screws into the pipe after the CAT CONVERTOR, the 1st one screws into the header pipe........

When changing it out, run the car for a couple of minutes as this will make it easier to remove and install the sensor.... dont forget to disconnect the battery when you are working on this.... It will also clear the error code.....

Keep on RAVin.....
