312,000 km / 194,000 m. Just beginning to have mech troubles: engine mounts, diff rear mount, 1 wheel bearing, steering rack oil leak. The amazing thing is that up to 290,000 km only 1 light bulb needed replacing (in the clock!). Full marks to Toyota - especially with the road conditions here.

My dad bought the now mine, 2002 2wd brand new. Right now I've got just below 170K on it. I know around 110K he had the struts replaced. And already now, the rears leak a bit and don't feel like they cushion. Also, I had to replace the stabilizer bar links about a month ago, because they were so worn they clunked and clanked loudly when going over even the tiniest bump. Other than that, the engine is rock solid and the sound system is still nice. I'm gonna change the front stabilizer bar bushings too, since those are pretty chewed up. Also, less than 10k miles ago ALL of the 02 sensors needed changing...along with the cat.

I have a 2005 2wd with 205,00 miles purchased new. No problems so far. Normal maintenance: oil change & tire rotate every 5k miles. Trany flush at 85k miles (probably could now use a drain & fill). Serpentine belt & alternator at approx. 150k miles. Starting to use oil. I'll probably need to replace the valve cover gasket. Otherwise it keeps on going!!

I have a 2005 RAV AWD with 5 speed manual. Currently has 144K miles. Maintnenace has been by the book, Oil and filter every 5K miles, etc. All fluids at 60K replaced with synthetic. Things replaced, brakes @100K, (including rear caliper rebuild) tires (originals went to 78K) and oil/filter/fluids. I have a slight leak now in the sheet metal transmission cover, it seems to be rusting through. Overall great car, original battery still. Car was built Oct 2005, purchased new Dec 2005. I hope to run it another 7-10 years and get at least another 100K troublefree miles....

I have a 2004 - 2wd - manual transmission with 238,000 miles. The only non wear parts I've had to replace have been the reverse light switch and a rear brake caliper. It still has the original clutch! Best vehicle I've owned.

2005 with 166K. Bought it with 3 miles on the clock. Transmission was replaced under warranty at 15K miles. other than that and a faulty driver side lock actuator the car has been very reliable. It does consume some oil between changes but nothing out of the ordinary.

I've got a 2001 4WD manual with 237,000 miles. Normal maintenence done regularly, oil changes, replaced shocks, struts, brakes recently, fluids, sensors. Rebuilt fifth gear. I suspect next big issue will probably be an engine gasket. But great car.

Rolled over 159K today on my way to work. 2005 RAV4, 5 speed manual trans, AWD. Since the last update at 144K, no breakdowns, one minor repair. Transmission side cover was leaking, removed, sandblasted, repainted and reinstalled with RTV. Cover was not rusted through, I think the factory RTV was no longer effectively sealing. No more trans leak. Still going strong, original battery, exhaust, etc. Orignial tires went 78K. Tires now (General HTS or something like that?), approx 55-56K on them, and about 27K on the Winterforce snows used in winter. Best car I have owned as far as troublefree and low $$ to run! My wife and I will never get rid of this car. Ultradependable, great in snow, practical transportation! I plan to use it to teach my now 7yo daughter how to drive a 5 speed manual!! So it better last at least another 9-10 years!!
