My 3-year old napa battery tested at 80% this week at the dealer. What's a % that would indicate replacement? I think its rated at 600cca and tested 525cca for the free battery test.

The Sears Diehard car batteries used to be pretty good, I don't think the Sears' in Canada sells them anymore - but I think the US Sears still do.

8-10 years with good maintenance and PM on your part. But with PO there is no telling except by a $10 battery hydrometer and test the electrolyte, look for 1.25 S.G. But build up in the lower section of black conductive lead particles will short out battery and people today would rather buy a new one than rebuild.

mine was good, started every morning etc etc, but left for 5 days or more and it was dead as a door nail

but as long as you drove everyday it was indistinguishable from a brand new battery

11 years, 150k miles
