Default Hwo to pull a fuse?

specifically the 40A one for the ABS
is there a puller that must be used or depress a tab?
I don't want to break the thing

I think some of those larger fuses have a screw holding them in from underneath. You have to detach the fuse box to get to the screw.

On my 2003 I couldn't get a good enough grip with my fingers so used a pair of pliers.

exactly, but I am worried there is something more holding it in, a tab or something that needs to be depressed

I don't want to break it
