Question Hello! will an Alpine CDE-9870 headunit fit in my rav?

First post here, i have an Alpine CDE-9870 headunit that i have removed from my recently totaled Ford Taurus, and am wodering if it will physically fit in place of my factory radio, and how will it stay in place since it is not the exact dimensions as the factory radio. I know how to remove the trim and access the stock head unit easy no prob, but was just wondering about those 2 potential issues. Thnkx!

No. I went to Amazon, where they showed the Alpine unit with the option to check if it fits a specific car. I keyed in your details and got a No.

You could also check with Crutchfield, to see whats compatible with your vehicle.

Just because Crutchfield says something won't fit, doesn't mean it can't fit. Sometimes all it takes is some minor modifications.

I went this route but installed a JVC multimedia head unit instead. I think it looks good and I do like the extra pocket below the head unit

Some people may not like the single din look but it's more of a individual preference and I think it looks fine
