P0172 & P0175 codes

My 2001 Rav4 keeps throwing codes P0172 & P0175. With the high cost of sensors i.e. two air flow sensors and two oxygen sensors, what's the best way to narrow down what should be replaced first?

Try the following link - it lists all of the OBD2 codes....

0172 and 0175 are "Mixture to rich" BANK 1 and BANK 2

I would try replacing the o2 sensors 1st as these are more than likely the cause......

www.obdii.com/codes.html

(Maybe this link can be put in the LINKS section??)

Keep on RAVin.....

have you done any mods lately like a CAI or new exhaust?

if you did....

CAI - make sure that the MAF sensor is properly seated and check the wires, too. A little bit of cleaning with an electronic lube/cleaner will work well.

Exhaust - physicaly check your exhaust from the manifold to tailpipe make sure that the sensor underneath was not damaged

GOOD luck!

The cat was replaced under warranty by Toyota about 3 months ago.

Thanks for the advice all. I think I'll try cleaning the air-fuel sensors first and then if the same codes pop up I'll start with the O2 sensors.
