Drivers Side Window Problem

so i drive to work today and everything is fine. i try to put my window down so i can reach the parking pass printer, but the window does not go down. when i pull into my parking spot, i turn the car off and then on to see if it would work and nothing. so then i use my viper remote system which is equipped with the window roll down module, and the window rolls down. so now my window is half way open and the switch for the window does not work. all the other windows function correctly.

so since i was able to get the window to move down with my remote feature, i believe the problem wouldnt be in the regulator or motor but i believe it is in the switch.

any ideas on what to check, or at least what wires to bypass so i can roll the window up for the time being.

is the window lock button on? I know it sounds dumb but sometimes we miss the simple things.

yeah i checked it. i made sure the other windows were working, which they were, meaning the window lock button was deactivated

so i took off the door panel and triggered the window up function but jumping the wires using a spare 12v battery. i still dont know the exact problem but i believe its the switch itself. so i ordered a new master switch which should be coming in, in a few days

i got the switch like 2 days ago. as soon as i got it, i replaced my old switch and sadly it was not the problem.

so now lets sumup the problem again
1. drivers side window switch is not working
2. all the other windows work
3. the drivers side window motor works in both up and down directions

so what else do i have left to do now? fuses? are there fuses for each window? and if so where are they?
can wiring be the problem? i believe this is very unlikely

any tips?thanks

thank you kindly for your wisdom, saved me from tearing into the door !!!! (I drive an old car that doesnt have that feature, was borrowing my wife's Rav and couldn't get the window to go down). Boy, that would have been embarrassing.
