Defroster duct problem rav4.2

My dash rattles and according to a technical bulletin i would have to do minor fixes with my defroster duct, problem is I don't know how to or where to start to be able to get to the defroster duct. Can anyone help me or show me how to disassemble it?

Also, air from my AC keeps coming out of the defroster duct even if the AC mode isn't on defrost mode. a little air still manages to go out the defroster duct and this fogs up my windshield. So this is another reason to disassemble the defroster duct.
