Cute 99 RAV4 Convertible Red/Black look for cool owner!

Loved my unique RAV4 convertible for many years, but it is sitting in the garage after I got a 2009 RAV4 Sport. It looks cute and runs GREAT so it is no justice for me to keep it idle.

It is a Red/Black 4WD, automatic transmission, Upgraded:
1. DEI Remote door lock/unlock and alarm system - with secondery hidden battery that even if someone removed the main battery, alarm would continue to go on, with choice of disabling the locking/unlocking beep (wife said it is annoying when parking at friend's home) and enabling the locking beep at public places.
2. Pioneer Premium Audio system (AM/FM1/FM2/Compact-CD/AUX-iPod/12-CD changer), sound adjustable to left/right/front/back, so that a sleeping passenger would hear minimum sound while driver hearing normal sound volume. Added a connector to connect to iPod or any MP3 player, anything with earphone plug hole.
3. Front Grill Bar and towing bar at the back, back lights guards.
4. Custom mounted GPS (Garmin with life-time upgrade) available (optional, I can remove it if you don't want it)

Changed to New timing belt and water pump and 4 new tires about 4 months ago, ODO meter is 141K miles. take a look at this cute little SUV, parking like a mini, squeeze in the city easier than regular car.

I had it for a few years - only saw 1 soft top in Green - very rare to find. I drove 70+K miles to 15 states including Maine, FL, Texas and West to Iowa - during the big snow storm 2009 - saw many cars got stuck in the snow(wheel spinning), and about 50 cars/truck buried under snow along I-80. This light weight RAV 4WD passed by with ease and proud.

Car is in a garage in Princeton NJ area, I am out of town for 2-3 weeks but can arrange for you to see it if you are a serious buyer.
Car runs great, recently passed NJ inspection with ticker valid for another 2 years.

I had protective coat and under coat over the years to prevent rusting. the protective coat is a little faded, it is a 12 year old car with 141k miles anyway.

Kelly Blue Book has its value at $5700-6000, without considering the above upgrades and new tires/timing-belt/water-pump. If I see a cool owner who will take good care of her, I am willing to go lower - I want to find her a good new home. I have not shipped a car before but believe that's doable.

Man you CAN'T sell that!! It's SOOOO blasted cute - and red & black too!!

If you must sell it make sure it goes to someone who appreciates it and will take the care you obviously have.

I'm trying to think of a reason I need it. Second best - someone I could give it to!

Yeah, I've got a 26 year old daughter, but she just got married in April! Actually, I would like that RAV for her.

Dr. Dyno, I hear you man - I will definitely make sure to sell to someone who appreciate and maintain it well! you have the same taste - I fell in love with this little RAV convert at first sight, it just does not do justice to have her sitting and rust, she can easily run another 150K or 250K miles!
RTexasF, I updated the post with price range in mind.
Hoosier, this RAV can make a few cross country trips easily, took me to Maine, FL, Texas, Iowa, MI, NC, MS, KS, OH, about 15 states in last few years.

Oh man, I own a RAV4 - 4 door & a Miata... That would be a nice compromise, get me down to 1 car!
I'm not looking but I hope it goes to someone who loves it! It's too cute!
