Hello,
from Cheshire. Mew to the RAV4 forums and new to owning. Always liked the shape of these and finally got one. Needs a bit of work, but with a great forum like tis shouldn't take too long to have it running just right.
Cheers

Your brother sounds like a pretty smart guy! So what took you so long to come around?

Hi All Rav4 Owners,
Recently sent my 1995 stock Acura Integra 5 spd with 243K miles to project car heaven and had to find new wheels. (I am not a mechanic.) I am now the third owner of a 1998 stock Rav4 L AT with 170K miles in basic black. Looking for the hinge assembly for the gas cap cover because the spring part is missing and a bit of the hinge is broken off. The rest of the vehicle is in pretty good shape. I really prefer a manual transmission but this little truck has a button you press to change the shift points up a thousand rpms or so. Will have to give it a chance. Love the higher stance and it charges through fierce storms and mildly flooded streets like it was dry pavement!

Default New Rav4 owner soon.

Hello,
Soon I will be a Rav4 owner. I had many cars (a few 4WD: Lada Niva, Daihatsu Feroza, Ssangyong Korando, Suzuki Samurai) and in a few weeks a 2001 Rav4 2doors cabrio manual gearbox, with LPG. First it has to undergo a technical checkup (obligation here in Belgium). It will be my first Toyota. The last 2 years I have been driving a Smart Coupe. Yes, those small vehicles. It has served me well, but it is what it is, a small (bumpy) car. Mileage is good though: 3,7liters per 100km. As a photographer I want to be able to go places where my Smart doesn't want to go.

Default New V6 owner in Saskatchewan

Hi there!

Bought a 2012 V6 Base model Rav4 two days ago, with 50 km on it. I've doubled that so far, love the Rav, and love the space inside, and the power for trailering in a few months. Mine's the last one like it they'll probably sell here, since the redesigned version is close to being released.

I'll post photos when I can; it's "just" a stock, nondescript, Toyota, though. You've all seen its twin.
