Luxeon -
Those beef short ribs are a delicacy in the Far East. My wife who is Korean often makes them, but not with Teriyaki sauce. She marinates them in a a conglomerate of soy sauce, sesame oil, scallions, bits of apple slices and honey. Korean term for them is "Kalbi", literal translation is "ribs". Delish!! OC |

I make home made Teriyaki Sauce and I marinate the Teriyaki Short Ribs for 2 days.
I sometimes BBQ these at work. The last time I cooked 15.5 lbs. |

Hey Luxeon,
That food looks like the local stuff we eat here in Hawaii. Korean food is yummy!

I love Hawaiian food.
I live in Gardena, California and we must have around 8 Hawaiian style restaurants over here. I went to Maui in May and had some really good food. Hanafuda's Saimen, the best I ever had. ![]() Da' Kitchen, Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Beef, Potato Salad and Rice ![]() Da' Kitchen, Fried Saimen ![]() Shaved Ice, next door to Da' Kitchen. Passion Fruit and Guava with Vanilla Ice Cream on the bottom. ![]() This is where I got the Shave Ice from.

My favorite food:
![]() New Glarus Spotted Cow beer...YUM! And the fantastic brewery where it's made: ![]() I actually LOVE to cook and do so often, but can't think of any pics we've taken of food I've made. The beer pic above was taken at our favorite lunch place in Madison, WI, but we haven't taken any pics of the food! Becky |
