Waltrav: Hot day?

This is Adorno Vitesse SC SR, my race-bred Whippet. We call him Dylan for short. One picture is his Halloween costume contest winning pirate outfit, one a pose for breeding, and the profile is that which appeared in the Dos Equis Italian Countryside beer commercial. He is quite a dog, 3 years old in August 2012, he enjoys sprint racing, oval track racing, and lure coursing ... and is the reason for my buying a RAV4.

Neilk: Do you lure course him? He's really handsome, does he ride in the back of your RAV like my Raul does in the post above?

Just stumbled back in here. YES, he does Sprint Racing (straight track), Oval Track Racing, and Lure Coursing. He has his AKC FC title, his full name being FC Adorno Vitesse SC OTRM SR. That is Field Champion, Oval Track Racer of Merit, Sprint Racer. That's why we call him Dylan ... it's so much easier to say. And yes, he has a crate fastened down in the back of the RAV that he rides safely in.

Wow! Phrede, you've got your car full! We had a 200 pound Harlequin Great Dane named "Catherine the Great" when we lived in Texas. She loved to ride in the front seat of my Mazda pickup and when we would get back to the house she didn't want to get out, so I would just leave the door open till she got tired of sitting there and came into the house.
