I have a snow Thrower Shield for my big snow blower and it's great. I tend to use my single stage blower more and needed a shield for it. It's brutal to have that snow hit you in the face. I saw one at SEARS for $60. I went online and got it at AMAZON for $40. I haven't installed yet, but will 11-15-12.

It's actually our old 2000 Subie Forester, which we believe had been assembled on a Monday morning by workers recovering from their weekend hangovers and built out of parts which had been rejected as being defective . . .

This TORO is over 25 years old and still hasn't rusted apart.
I rebuilt the carb on the Tecumseh Engine, set it to factory specs, put gas in the machine and it ran like new. Amazing!

Here's an example of an old snowblower that I saw at an estate sale last year. It has metal wheels. What I felt unusual was hearing people talk that since it was a SEARS, thy felt they could still get parts for it from SEARS.
