My old trusted hand me down snow blower finally gave up the ghost. It was a pretty big machine and lasted many years. Since I get my driveway plowed now, I decided to get a smaller one that will fit through a door on to my deck. I went with a Cub Cadet Two-Stage 24 in. 208 cc Gas Snow Blower. Don't know much about them, hopefully it will be good. Anyone else use snow blowers?

SB , I house sat for a friend who went to Barbados last winter. He had a new 208cc Cub Cadet blower which he had not used. We got a snow storm and I used the blower for it's first time. It went through 15" of damp snow with no problems at all. I liked the power steering which made it easy to use. I didn't have to exert any energy maneuvering it around his car. Sure beats shoveling.

Mine is something like this. Got it from the father in law when he upgraded. But for a little guy it does a pretty decent job! When it is deep, I just cut slices off.

SB, I've never even seen a snow blower, only pictures! But I heard that Cub Cadet has gone from using Honda engines to CC-branded Chinese engines for their walk behind mowers. What engine is on your blower?
BTW, I had to mow the lawn Friday. It was getting pretty shaggy in the back yard!
