RAYDAHS, I just checked my Impreza and the head restraint does have 3 positions! Learn something new everyday. Thanks for mentioning it. I guess I should look over the owners manual some more.

That hurts SB. I had just turned 1000 km on my present RAV when a truck threw a stone into my windshield.
Down your way just before Labour Day weekend. NH is a pretty State.

Yes, it does hurt some 4ever. I did get a loaner since the crack continued to grow and it will be 3-4 weeks till a new one comes in. Got a Chevy Cobalt with leather. Yes, the leaves are just starting to turn. New Hampshire and the North East really looks great around Columbus day week.

That sucks. I have been quoted $300 for replacing my RAV with the heating elements. I have a Japanese RAV 4.3 in Canada.

Well it's been 5 months now since my first Zaino application. I added a coat today on the Subie. The Subie now has 8000 miles.

I like the Impreza, but you can have a lot more fun driving the new Mazda CX5 although the mpg isn't as good as the Impreza it still gets around 30mpg.

If the CX5 could only have an optional more powerful engine, gas or diesel I would certainly have considered it. As for the Impreza, I had a 2008 2.5i Sport 5 door with 170 HP and it was not enough for me and not refined, also very little ground clearance so the new one just does meet my requirements with it's 2.0L engine. That being said, I really like their new Crosstrek but again same 2.0L engine; about the CVT, I'm sure I would have gotten used to it and it's one of the best. Lots of issues with the 2008-2011 models thank God I did not pay much for the car and got a good trade-in value. My new RAV meets 95% of my requirements and I will continue with add-ons and small mods to make it a better vehicle!

I saw one of those on the lot the last time I had my oil changed. Looked great from the outside.

Seems to do well in the NE winters. I do think winter tires are the best bet for next winter.
