Anyone Going To Miss Their Twinkies?

Even Ghostbusters discribed one of the biggest Twinkies world in one of their pictures, Twinkies were, are and will be, (if someone reopens the factory) a part of the american culture. Who hasn't eaten Twinkies.

But I have a feeling they will be back, like classic Coka Cola.

Never did like Hostess. Always preferred Drake's Yankee Doodles. But wait I just found out they're owned by Hostess and going down with them.

I can only hope they'll be found to be too big to fail and I can sleep better

Dr. remember the Devil Dogs, and the Yodels. After school, my mom always had Twinkies, DD, or Yodels with a cold glass of mike at 3:10 as a snack.

Yes, and I'd always be even more disappointed when a store had them but not my Yankee Doodles.
This is a real serious loss where the government could do some actual good instead of just saving failing car companies.

Who's fault was that "the failing car companies" of the USA. After WWII, Germany and Japan were boomed out, who was the competition in the car industry in the USA? No one. Then the baby boomers of the big three cried "Foul Play" when they couldn't match the quality or prices of Japanese or German cars in today s market.

I read that article and could only shake my head in disbelief. Those unions would rather lose their jobs than negotiate for a lower wage in light of Hostess restructuring under bankruptcy. So they are getting bailed out by the tax payers for their pensions regardless.

Already there are a list of buyers lining up to purchase the rights so there is little danger of Twinkies going extinct. It just won't have the name Hostess on it any more.

I prefer Cloudcakes anyway. Lol.

No, they will probably loose their pensions. And the company, or actually the company that forced the company into bankruptsy, like Bane Capital did with so many, is the one that makes all the money, at tax payer expense. The workers get the shaft while the CEO's walk off with a bundle.
