Yes, BUT the Canadian Hostess plants are to remain open and producing product. I live on the border. Canada is a short drive for me.

That said, it's all sugary junk food and better off without it.

I do feel sorry for the lost of jobs.

There has been a buying craze since Friday after the announcements with twinkies "investors" thinking they are going to make a killing on Ebay. Those interviewed thought they will be able to resell their $5 boxes for hundreds of dollars, even "as much as $1,000 each." I checked on Ebay and it doesn't look like much is selling although there are hundreds of listings.
I've got a feeling that a lot of these shrewd investors are going to get sick of eating these sponge rubber cakes.

The plant is not too far from my house. Their recipes will get bought up and re-sold under a different company. Don't worry folks...
