Installation Guide for 4.1 Rear Sway Bar

Here's a pdf installation guide for the Addco Rear Sway Bar for RAV4.1's . If anyone has changes, post 'em here, otherwise, enjoy.

4 months later bump.

BTW, I have talked with John Wright at Addco about the production of the FRONT sway bar. They have purchased an OEM bar, and the Addco model will be ready for production within 2 months. YAY!!

The "Installation Guide for Brake Lines" is on it's way, and the FRONT sway bar guide will be up within a couple months (after I get the 1st one off the production line )

When did you find that info about the front sway bar? I have been half looking for a rear sway bar and a front strut tower brace to add to my RAV this summer and came across this: http://www.andysautosport.com/toyota...c00097124.html

I attempted to buy THAT exact bar. 6 weeks later, they tell me that there is a "manufacturing error"

I know better, because Addco's tech group is amazing, so I call em up and talk with John, and he says it will drop in a month or two, but they are pretty backed up with work at the moment.

I'll relay any communication with ya'll through this thread

Please bump this thread when the front and rear swaybars are available. I'm interested in getting the two of them.

By the way... what sort of swaybars does the rav4 already has?

i remember there being a K-mac rear sway bar from a forum post either here or on RAVOZ but wasnt it faulty or stressed the shocks too much?

Srry if its slightly off the topic but its the only post I thought would be good to ask it.

I'm receiving 2 different stories about this front sway bar.

1) Addco sez - we have to develop a new one.
2) Andy's sez - Addco's first design failed, so they are re-designing it.

More investigation needed. My question to all those on the forum:

"Has You Heard About Anyone Buying One of These?"

I completely understand that designs fail, but it honestly seems that no one has bought it, so they never spent the research $$ to develop it.
