When you ordered them, which once you ordered? For the Celica? If so, which year?

I would love to see a rav4 hard cover for the spare tire on your rig.

The vinyl one just looks...well, vinyly

When a cover that I like comes available I'll go for it.
Until then, the vinyl cover is clean and cheap.

So I picked up some spacers.
38mm for the rear and 32mm for the front.

exciting.

could you post a pic of the car with spacers on? one of the things that has always bothered me about our cars is the way the back looks with stock tires and the way they align with the body it makes the rav look like it has a huge ass

Funny, I never posted in this thread about swapping in the Beams motor.

So I need a new motor

Also, primed the new wheels today, just gotta give them a quick sand then once it gets warmer, spray them silver and clear them.

wow.
Expensive score!
Why do you think you need it?
Or just for the fun of thinking you have that option?

I wouldn't do it "just for the fun of thinking I have that option". That sounds like a very condescending thing to say, unless that's why you do the things you do. If you don't know what the advantages of having LSD are then I suggest you do some research. I tend to do things for thought out reasons.

I was able to get it for a good price, I just couldn't refuse.
I need to get the Rav OEM LSD inners from Toyota, they cost about $125 each side, that's the killer. So total it should cost me around $450 complete. I can live with that.

Having LSD in the rear is better in just about every way. The Rav will have better traction in the snow, dirt, sand, off-roading, everywhere. Also knowing that my stock rear diff only holds until around 250hp, having the extra security of a very strong, reliable, proven LSD diff is worth it.
I know the Beams has only 210hp and right now I'm not close with my restrictive exhaust and minimum 15%-20% drivetrain loss. It just gives me future options.
