Default need ideas on suspension

Hey,

i recently got rims for my car, and they look pretty mean. One thing i would like to do is lower my car. i was thinking of trying to find a lowering kit for it but not many people have kits for the rav4. right now i have 18in black rims with 2 in rubber around them, so the stock size diameter just different rims/tires. should i just go find like camery parts and try make them work, any suggestions are more then welcome.

Thanks.

Camry parts are never going to work. A camry uses struts at all four wheels our Ravs use coil springs and shocks in the rear and a different strut up front. There are members on here that have lowered using different lowering springs made for the RAV from a few different companies like H&R and tein. Upgraded struts upfront and shocks in the rear are used as well. If you really cant find any thing a company called coil spring specialties will make custom springs.

If only your lift was produced in mass numbers and sold, as it is the best I have seen.

The custom lift you used seems to be coil overs so it would probably provide lowerring if adjusted and fitted with different springs.

I bet it was not cheap to have built and fitted.

Yes, you can lower front coilover, but we haven't short springs for rear suspensions, sorry
