Default Lights for my bull bar

So I finally bought a set of fog lights to go on my Westin light bull bar.
They are going to be here tomorrow and so I've been reading on how to install them and i'm getting nervous! Is this something I should take to get done???

I'm consider the same kind of setup. Please post how it works out and what you used. Pics would be great. Would also like your opinion on the Weston. I think the front of the RAV4 kind of lends itself to a bull bar and mounting of an aux. lighting is problematic.

I would have no problem doing the wiring, but it is not a fair indicator because of my electrical background. Are you planning on a straight forward switch on/off type setup?

My biggest problem with the Westin is the size, it's a tad small, but nice and sturdy and should look great once the 6 in lights are in.

See, i'm not sure. I want to have it where I can turn it off separate from my fog lights so I guess an off/on switch on the panel by my left knee. On Wednesday i'll mess with it and see if I can't figure it out.

Were the light mounting tabs on the bar? How tough was the mechanical installation?

Depending if they are driving or fog pattern lights you may want to consider what I have done on other vehicles and would most likely do on anything I add to Rav4....
I add a 3 position switch (SPDT) that has an auto-off-on function with auto bringing the lights on with the high beams. The fogs may be substituted for high beams if a fog pattern. The convenience of having them come on with the high beams was worth the little bit of extra wiring and what I used the most. It is really not as complex as you may think since a relay and separate power source is required in any case. I would have to confirm the circuit, but it is usually one wire and a diode additional. Just a thought. Keep us posted how it goes.

There are tabs for lights, yes. And installation was a breeze. Took me 25 minutes tops and I did it by myself.

I've heard of that method. It does sound like the best way to go about it. I just have no idea what I'm doing. haha

My preference for a bull bar light would be Hella Jumbo 320 Xenon with 35W HID and a pencil beam.
