Haven't seen any issues mentioned specific to the '11 models. You may find the accelerator calibrated less aggressively which = less fun IMO.
Always some complaints about the Sport's firmer ride ... all years.

It's the pedal (or the handgrip) on the right!!

I went from a 2007 to 2012, the transmission mapping and gas pedal are a lot less aggressive... I miss my old 2007 for that...

2007 Rav4 V6 Sport AWD (bought back)
2012 Rav4 V6 Sport AWD

I went from 06 to 11 V6, both AWD. I prefer the less twitchy gas pedal and the transmission mapping produces smoother shifts.

Most twitchy gas pedal ever? My former '07 5.7 Tundra.

From many posts the difference in the gas pedal is in the off-idle, barely touching the pedal. Some have found the early V6 ones hard to modulate. I like mine, especially with no copilotess.

The transmission mapping must be in it's eagerness to downshift altho this is the first I've heard of a change.
