Collision Center experience?

My wife's '06 was hit this morning. She's okay, fortunately. We drove the poor car home, though the front passenger panel and front bumper are shredded. I had to bungee them up to keep them from dragging all over the place. The windshield washer reservoir behind them is busted up as well. I only took a quick glance, but that's all I could see for now.

KBB value is about $8,800 at this point. I kinda doubt they'll total it, though I don't really know what it'd cost to repair / repaint stuff.

We're supposed to hear from the other guy's insurance adjuster next week (he ran a stop sign). In the meantime, I'd like to plan ahead. Anyone like to share their experience with the Toyota Collision Center? Good, bad, ugly?

Haven't dealt with them but I bet insurance totals it. Got a current picture of it?
I was in what was considered a minor fender bender (pictures are here somewhere) and it was $4400.

Just the fender and Bumper and paint will cost about $1300 at a Toyota Collision Center.
If you're hit from behind it would cost much more.
In your case, it mostly replacable panels.

I doubt they will write it off. FYI, all the Toyota Collision Centers are privately owned; it does not mean that they are trained by Toyota.
The Toyota Collision Center near me is recommended by my insurance and that collision center offers lifetime warranty on their work. So I use them whenever I have insurance-covered work to do.
