Do I have any kind of warranty?

Do I have a warranty of any kind?

Just curious because I got a new 2011 RAV4 Limited V6 purchased in April 2012, and put it in storage after only 5002 miles. Yes, it is probably silly to think there is any value to that but I wonder,

Whatever remains of the factory warranty and any extended service plan that you purchased will be in effect.

Basic bumper to bumper warranty is 3 years or 36,000 miles, so that is either done or will be done within a very short period.
Emissions systems are warranted for a longer period, so that will still be in effect.
I'm not sure what year Toyota went to the 80,000 mile drivetrain warranty, you are likely might still covered under that.

I would think your factory warranty expired last month.
What you DO have though, is a dream of a car!! (assuming proper storage precautions of course)

you still have the 5 year power train warranty and the 7 year emissions system warranty. Have a look at you owners manual, it lists what's included.

Assuming that it was put into storage with the winter Minnesota road salt thoroughly washed off that RAV likely would be sought after by someone who is looking for just what you have, especially since it has the V6 engine.

Pico, your bumper to bumper warranty expired in April of this year. The powertrain warranty should be good until April 2017.

Thank you to everyone who responded. I'm home now and will get the paperwork from the RAV4 in a few minutes.

It has not been out in the Winter.

Regarding salt - we do not use salt here, or most places within a hundred miles because it's all rural and salt attracts deer. Still, we have plenty of accidents hitting them. (Remember if you see one deer in the road, there is another one close by.)

Again, many thanks.
