Can the I4 pull a popup camper?

I saw that in Ravman's album he has an older style RAV 2 door. I'm asuming the 4 banger in those is quite smaller than the new 06's. And he had his RAV and a popup camper somewhere camping (assuming he used it to put the popup ). So how do you all think the new I4's would handle a popup about the same size?

I spent about 30min just checking that thing out. IT ROCKS. You definitely will have to save up for one though, those suckers are expensive. You could get close into getting a used camper trailer or 5th wheel with those prices!!!

i am just a complete sucker for quality ......when i see things such as that, which is diffrent and seems to have a kind of vintage style to it.........i have to tell my self NO!.........it kind of reminds me of the older airstreams, so i think thats why i like it ......plus it just looks cool.....

Just check on the tow capacity of the 4 cyl... Then figure out how much your pop up is going to weight.. Your going to come close I think because after you add stuff to the pop up.. Yikes.. I had to sell my CR-V a few years back and bought my dad's Jimmy just to tow my newly purchased pop up camper.. It was one of the smaller ones and it weighed about 2,500 pounds..

So check into those 2 things.. Also check into the A-Frame's... They are quite cool but really tiny.. :P And PRICEY!

The 06 I4 has a very low tow rating. I think my 4wd is either 1000 or 1500#. Some of the new camp trailers are near that. Be careful of that.

I thought seriously about getting a V6 just so I could tow with it in an emergency, but chose not to.
