Poor Gas Mileage

Perhaps we have a Metric Mix-up here, or you spend a lot of time parked on a bridge somewhere near Montreal.

The 13 MPG (18L/100km) was a one time occurrence, during a deep cold spell in MTL (-20 degrees Celsius average that week!). I also think I must of got a bad batch gas on that particular week.

There are a lot of stops lights on my way to work, however in the morning I always get the green lights nearly 80 % of the drive (thank god for synchronized lights on that road). So I'm usually cruising at about 60 km/h.

I have been converting all my stats from L/km to MPG for the purposes of posting on this forum.

I'm always parked on a flat surface at home and at work.

Yesterday, for the first time, I filled up with some Shell V-power premium gas. I figured my fuel injectors could use a good cleaning. This can't hurt. Also curious to see how the premium gas will affect my mileage

Another thought I have might be the gas brand. Do you normally buy Shell gas or another brand or just whatever? They talk on here of top tier gas versus others. (not referring to premium or regular).
