Default The Next Generation RAV4 - What Would You Like To See Changed?

Based on your purchase of the 4.3 RAV4, what would you like to see Toyota change for the 4.4 RAV4?

no HID headlights. I (and RavQuattro I'm sure) want to be unique.
+1000000000000000 on that opening rear window.

Better sound proofing in the rear of the vehicle.
Remove the transmission whine at certain speeds.
A rear door that opens up instead of sideways, with detents so it doesn't hit the garage door.
Better tires from OEM.
Higher quality interior.

- 5 or 6 speed manual transmission
- opening rear window
- diesel engine option
- better sound proofing
- improve the ride
- higher quality interior materials
- Homelink
- non-rear mounted spare tire - prefer this but wouldn't sway me to or from the Rav4 if it came to that.
- steering wheel audio controls on lower models (in Canada, only available on the Limited)

I would not stay with 4.4 no matter what. I've had it with the transversial engine architecture. Suzuki GV, or maybe a Pathfinder.

A power outlet that stays hot with the ignition off.

I'd like:

- Rear, upward opening hatch
- Another gear or three in the transmission
- Ice, economy, and sport modes for the transmission
- Front seat with a seat bottom that will tilt downward towards the butt
- Sports suspension available without the dark interior
- A little more flexibility in ordering options with models
- A bit more sound insulation
- More power. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. But it rocks too!

That was from one of those demotivator posters. . .
