Sorry, coulter, I try to welcome everyone, but we get so many new members every day I can't keep up. And I don't know anything about cold air intakes unfortunately. Ask me about gas charged hood struts, mud guards, XM radio, Homelink, auto door locks, or programming options with Techstream and I'm your guy!

Using the search up on the black menu bar I entered cold air intake and got a couple of hits. Search is your friend. K&N apollo mod using stock intake setup 13.903@98.48mph New 1/4 Mile Drag Time

Nothing new for the Rav, but new CAI may come out over the years. Titling your post 'New from the Colorado' isn't going to find them though.
From my skimming a few months ago I think the gains don't really justify the cost. |

Near as I can tell, most CAI kits are actually "hot air intakes", by where they are positioned...not to say a true CAI couldn't be created by taking air from the fender or some such place.

Why do you think Toyota puts the intake there when they could get better performance and mileage by breathing from somewhere else?
