Maximum Number of Transponder Keys

Does anyone know the maximum number of transponder ignition key that can be programmed into a 2012 Rav4 base? I currently have 2 keys with remote and 1 valet key. I would like to add 2 more keys. I was just wondering if I can program a total of 5 keys.

Yes, I think it was 5 I saw when I added one using the techstream

As far as programming the remote, there is a way to do it manually but I can't remember how.

You must use the Techstream software and MVCI cable to program the immobiliser chip in the key. You can program the remote with the brake pedal method, but it's much easier with the Techstream and a laptop. I paid $28 for mine from Ebay.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully someone can confirm the manual method. I will probably buy the techstream software and cable kit.

I finally got my techstream. I just need to program my 2 laser cuts transponder keys that I want to use with my Compustar single button remote starter remote. I didn't like the idea of having the rav4 key with built-in remote hooked up to another remote.
