08 Rav humming/whinning from engine compartment
Hey all. New here. I have a 08 4 cyl that is humming from the engine compartment while idleing. It goes away above 1000 rpm's or so but comes back at a stop light. I didnt see any other threads about this. Please help or point me in the right direction if u can, thx!

Welcome to the forum! Is the noise you are hearing due to the radiator cooling fan running? If so and it's running when it has not done so previously under the same conditions that could be due to low coolant level . . .

Thanks for the welcome and reply.
I dont think its the fan but i will check It in the morning. I only hear it at low Rpm,s and it will occasionally not make The noise at all. If i cant figure it out We r taking it in on Wednesday i think. |
