2011 Limited Front Bumper popping out? help!

i recently purchased a 2011 rav4 limited edition. i noticed when i bought it the front bumper was kind of sticking out on the 2 corners. its really not a big deal, imjust a perfectionist. so here i am thinking its just a clip that it goes into and its missing... wrong.... how the heck do i secure this thing????

Note: pushed it out more from the fender well to better show what im talking about...

My daughter had exactly the same problem with her new 2014 Camry. Since it was sold as a CPO vehicle, we brought it back to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty. They apparently replaced some clips or fasteners on that side and it's fine now.

Dontcha hate when that happens?
I would slide under there and see if you can find some blank holes where the clips might be missing.

I did. It was the first thing i did actually lol. but, its like its sealed and there seem to be some sort of hook like tab there. there seems to be no way to get them to fasten securely.

wmatthews1986's picture is showing what the mouting bracket on the bumper.
The bumper cover has 2 tabs that connect to the corresponding area on the bracket.
I am guesssing that either one of the tabs is broken on each side and/or the corresponding area on the bracket is broken,
I am guessing that it is the bracket that is damaged, which is cheaper to replace.
But to replace that, the bimper and part of fender has to be unbolted. I am not sure if you could super-glue that bumper into the bracket; it is a very flimsy contraption.

This damage can happen when someone backups up slightly into you or you hot a a pole, even slightly.

Like others have said the best thing to do is remove the bumper and see what clip is missing/broken or if there is something not attached right. There is a good bumper removal guide in the sticky section for installing fog lights. It is not that hard to remove the bumper just lots of bolts and clips. Have some type of blanket or drop cloth to place under the bumper when it gets lowered to the ground to prevent scratching.

It seems that you might not have to fool around with the front fender after all.
Just drop the corner of the bumper and take a peak. FYI, I had a changed my front fender a few years ago.
In the this picture the bracket has already been removed; 2 bolts.
Is it worth the effort? Maybe not but that's your car, your time, your money.
